Third Wave ROAMS Kentucky

The Kentucky Foundation for Women and Third Wave Foundation invite you to Third Wave ROAMS Kentucky

A Workshop and Conversation for everyone interested in learning about the changes in activism and feminism.

The Kentucky Foundation for Women and the Third Wave Foundation present ROAMS: Reaching Out Across Movements, an interactive workshop. The workshop will be followed by conversation about bringing together feminist artists and activists of all ages.

Monday, August 23, 5:00 -7:00pm (EST)
Louisville Free Public Library (Main Branch), Centennial Room
Located at 301 York Street between 3rd and 4th streets, one block south of Broadway.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the public of ALL AGES.

Light refreshments will be served.

During the workshop, we will learn about the work Third Wave Foundation is doing to support young women 15-30 who are trying to create positive social change in their communities. We will learn about what resources are needed, public education, and
relationship-building opportunities.

Who should attend?
--Women artists and activists of all ages, and their allies
--Members of organizations and groups that focus on women's issues
--Everyone interested in learning more about activism, feminism, womanism.
