Call For Papers: For our upcoming issue, Limestone 2005, we seek original poetry, fiction and black and white visual art expressing or relating a theme of “silence.” We especially are interested in historically silenced voices, including but not limited to women, minorities and the working class.

Limestone: A Journal of Art and Literature
Limestone showcases original and imaginative writing by residents of the Bluegrass region of Kentucky and writers from across the nation. We are a venue for sharing literary works and ideas and for promoting new and innovative creative writing and visual art. Limestone 2003 featured Irish poets including Seamus Heaney and Eaven Boland. Limestone 2004 featured Kentucky artists including Ed McClanahan, James Baker Hall, and Kentucky poet laureate Joe Survant.
