What Are the Possibilities of a New Draft?
An article in the Charleston Gazette (West Virginia newspaper) examines the issue of a new draft--this time for both men and women--currently circulating in congress.
Yep, this piece of legislation was drafted(no pun intended) just last year. Thought you might be interested in seeing the actual document if you haven't already.
Thanks--I'll pass it on to my students since we have been discussing this ... interesting that the provision no longer includes college enrollment as a rationale for avoiding service?
