The President is committed to...

I just got this as part of an automated message response to a letter I wrote to the president about the Israeli-Lebanon conflict:

"On behalf of President Bush, thank you for your correspondence. We appreciate hearing your views and welcome your suggestions. The President is committed to continuing our economic progress, defending our freedom, and upholding our Nation's deepest values."

I guess in politics the three strike rule doesn't mean you are out?

Silly Thivai...he is telling the truth as he knows it
A)continuing our economic progress,is associated with big business, especially OIL companies making record profits.
B)defending our freedom, well that translates also to the answer to letter A above.
C)upholding our Nation's deepest values is an accurate statement for him. He actually believes that rich, WASP's own the country.

Get with the program you radical!!

My shrink today told me that i have a transference problem... the abandonment by my father is just influencing my disillusionment/anger with the institutions that regulate my world. If only I would take some pills I would be a much happier :) person and not worry/be-bothered by these things.

Anyone know a good Jungian analyst in Lexington? All I want to do is integrate my selves and learn to recognize/reconcile my dark (shadow) side!

Wel all of the upper level managers at my work had to ake psychological and "responsive reasoning" tests recently. I'm guessing I cam out OK since neither the men carrying the pretty white coat that ties in the back nor the gentlemen in blue suits with gold badges have shown up....yet!

Thivai you are an awesome individual, someone I have watched grow since we were teenagers roaming the "streets we call the Zoo". You need to stop being so hard on yourself buddy. Look at where we were and where we are now. Neither of us imagined getting any letters other than DUI after our names and now you have PHD and I got more letters than most for computers. embrace your dark side occassionally and continue to fight the good fight.

The good fight being opening peoples minds to different thought processes and ideas, reading, writing, being emotional, being human! You do so much more than I in this and I am even prouder now to call you my friend than when we were younger. Enjoy your success, appreciate your open mindedness and continue to push, prod and shove others towards embracing those ideals!!!
