A professor of economics emeritus at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and most recently the author of Capitalism Hits the Fan: The Global Economic Meltdown and What To Do About It (2009), Rick was on the show in April discussing the economic crisis and the changes that have taken place in the way capitalism works since the 1970s. In this new episode Rick talks about the origins and significance of the housing crisis facing the United States.
