Proponents Say Workers' Rights Bill Unfairly Tarnished
American Constitution Society for Law and Policy

The major workers’ rights bill pending in Congress will not spark job losses if enacted says Dean Baker in an interview with ACS Blog. Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research, said that opponents of the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) have mounted a misleading campaign to scuttle the bill’s passage. Baker talked with ACS Blog after participating in a recent panel discussion at the National Press Club on EFCA.

Also in an interview with ACS Blog, American Rights at Work Research Director Julie Martinez Ortega says EFCA is critical to helping build the nation’s middle class, and to helping make employers more competitive.
