Thinking About Environment: Pt. 1

Environment is different from place in that environment is the actual conditions of habitats and the way in which beings inhabit those environments, while place involves the more "constructed" imagining/labeling/beliefs of/about our habitats. These files collect articles on the intersections and politics of both environment and place--in the broadest sense.
