"A schizophrenic out for a walk is a better model than a neurotic laying on the analyst's couch. A breath of fresh air, a relationship with the outside world." Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, Anti-Oedipus (1972)
Wow, Thivai - I've never seen that quote before, and it's blowing my mind. I'm not sure if I believe it (-: It's still there, but is it true? I'd love to hear you riff on this a bit.
When I came across it I thought it would be a great prompt because it initially messed with my mind... unfortunately at the moment I am battling a wicked chest cold (4 days running)and have a 125 essays and 50 final exams to grade... but I am a circular thinker and will return to it when I have time.
