Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Thivai, Jack Sparrow is irresistable, in that Alan Cumming sort of way. The only question is, how good are you with eye liner?
Hmmm, haven't had much practice with the eyeliner ... do you have some I could borrow? Hair is kind of short these days ... although to love to go about unshaven. When I was younger I probably appeared very much the piratical sort, complete with long hair, piecemeal outfits, roving bands of comrades, and a free nature(especially since I was usually operating in those border areas outside of the law/polite-society)
I guess being a professor is not very daring/adventurous... although some of my students act as if I am sometimes making them walk-the-plank.
In my initial guess, I thought I would end up as 007, but instead I'm:
You scored as Batman, the Dark Knight.
As the Dark Knight of Gotham, Batman is a vigilante who deals out his own brand of justice to the criminals and corrupt of the city. He follows his own code and is often misunderstood. He has few friends or allies, but finds comfort in his cause.

I came out as Indiana Jones, suit's me.
Indiana Jones is an archaeologist/adventurer with an unquenchable love for danger and excitement. He travels the globe in search of historical relics. He loves travel, excitement, and a good archaeological discovery. He hates Nazis and snakes, perhaps to the same degree. He always brings along his trusty whip and fedora. He's tough, cool, and dedicated. He relies on both brains and brawn to get him out of trouble and into it.

You scored as Maximus.
After his family was murdered by the evil emperor Commodus, the great Roman general Maximus went into hiding to avoid Commodus's assassins. He became a gladiator, hoping to dominate the colosseum in order to one day get the chance of killing Commodus. Maximus is valiant, courageous, and dedicated. He wants nothing more than the chance to avenge his family, but his temper often gets the better of him.

That was me, Abby Normal, above....
Abby,
I spoke of the borderlands in a metaphorical sense--we felt justified for our actions in the sense that we felt society didn't give a damn about us and we responded accordingly--but you are right we journeyed far into the darkness and we left many dead/insane/incarcerated behind when we returned?
Yeah, I can picture you as the Maximus type ;)
Susanne:
The Dark Knight and Maximus are very fanatical/single-minded/revenge-seeking :) anyone been doing you wrong?
Mad Mike:
I can definitely picture you as the roving adventurer...
Abby,
I think you are too much the joker/comedian too be Maximus (serious character)... perhaps the second choice is better... yeah I could definitely picture you as El Zoro
that was whom I expected to be actuallt. Perhaps it had to do with all of the revenge questions to do with your famiy...either that or corporate life has jaded me even more than I thought!
Abbby
I know, I'm not sure why I ended up with those two as my top. The last time I felt truly f'ed over was 5 years ago, and I excised those family members and moved on. I guess I would be considered fanatical though in the sense when someone messes with my husband, kids, or close friends, I can't let it go. I have to do something. If you ask anyone who knows me well what the most important thing in a relationship is to me, they would all say loyalty. But my loyalty isn't "blind", it demands mutual loyalty. Break that, and as DeNiro would say, "you are out of the circle of trust" heh.
