David C. Korten: The Great Turning; Earth Community Dialogues and Regional Sustainability

David C. Korten

THE GREAT TURNING Empire to Earth Community

Monday, June 26 7:00pm

David Korten's best-selling books When Corporations Rule the World and The Post-Corporate World: Life After Capitalism have had global impact. In his new book, The Great Turning, Korten writes that a mounting perfect economic storm is fast approaching and discusses the impact of climate change, peak oil, and financial instability on modern life. Come envision with David how sustainable bioregional economic systems and grassroots networking efforts, and a revitalizing of the international movement for peace and justice provide strong promise for a different future.
