"A schizophrenic out for a walk is a better model than a neurotic laying on the analyst's couch. A breath of fresh air, a relationship with the outside world." Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, Anti-Oedipus (1972)

The Struggle to Care
OK, I said I would write (publicly) on a regular basis, but I'm finding it difficult to care these days...
(a nod to Wood's Lot for introducing to this artist)
getting out of the people-settlements helps lots i find, gives the body/heart/mind some room. i have a terrible feeling i'll miss out completely this summer, too busy. which is damn sad as i don't expect to be back out this way for a long while now. :(
i guess theory comforts/shields fear of the personal stuff? i *think* i know how that works, used to have the same habit myself. i applaud ya for being good for yourself - this is so so so necessary. not always easy (nor 'feel-good' for that matter) but will make a big difference in the long run... at least i have found this is so in my own regard.
i send supportive vibes from the land of the big rocks!

Ricia,
Numbness did set in for awhile but i have been doing a lot of hiking and left town for the fourth to hang out with ol' friends--helped a lot.
Heading this weekend to go see the Moonbow
I'm also doing some counseling--we talk about theories and intellectual stuff a lot, while dovetailing back to personal issues (this works for me ;)
ooooh, the moonbow is sure purdy'nough..
