We are living in the midst of an important civil rights battle. As I woke up this morning I saw the notices that a mayor in Oregon had joined the battle and that the debate over gay marriage has erupted across the nation. One wonders how this will play out in the presidential elections (why did Kerry have to be so gutless)?
