(If anyone is wondering, I support love, sex and desire between any consenting adults. We have too many people already in this world, so the idea of marriage as necessary for procreations reasons is absurd, and, the world has so much hate, anger and violence in it, I find it absurd on all grounds that anyone would reject love and committment between any consenting adults.)

Amen to your parentheses. The irrationality of those who attack gay marriage never ceases to amaze me.
And the idea that a whole segment of our society is being systematically denied its rights to participate in the institutions of marriage and family that conservatives say are so central to our society--this especially fills the arguments of those who attack gay marriage with so much contradiction it would take a miracle to salvage them...
