Rally For a Hate Free Lexington, April 4th

RALLY FOR A HATE-FREE LEXINGTON

There will be a rally for a hate-free Lexington TOMORROW (Sunday, 4/4/04) from 4:30-6:30 at Triangle Park.

Many of you may remember the rally that took place last school year, when the radical ant-gay preacher Fred Phelps paid a visit to Lexington. Lexingtonians came out in full force to support the gay community and the idea of more diverse and tolerant Lexington in
general.

Sunday's rally is to show that Lexington is ready to support ALL facets of a multi-cultural community, even without a hateful prompting.

The rally is at Triangle Park, and starts at 4:30 with dancers from Mecca. The dancers will start promptly at 4:30, so get there a little early if you don't want to miss them.
