Learning About Globalization

I would start with John Benyon and David Dunkerley, edited Globalization: The Reader (Routledge, 2000) to get a feel for the competing views... perhaps with a quick visit to a source like The Many-Headed Hydra: The Hidden History of the Revolutionary Atlantic (Beacon Press, 2001) for a view on why globalization is not a new subject.

There are a lot of good online sources:

Globalization: A Primer

Globalization: Key Concepts

Landscapes of Global Capital

Rise of Global Anticapitalism Movements
