Doonesbury has long been one of my favorite comics. Creator Garry Trudeau entertains and informs while respecting the intelligence of his audience. In the past year he has given us the ground-breaking Saga of B.D. (in that while most media outlets were ignoring images of wounded soldiers Trudeau used on of his main characters to explore the issues surrounding life after war) and the $10,000 Reward Offer. Now, with the elections approaching, he is highlighting a series called "Honest Voices Reading List" which is "a roundup of indispensable writings from conservative sources" The First (Oct. 11th) in this series is:
