Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War

The Bush administration conceded today that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and that Hussein did not have the capabilities to build weapons of mass destruction (at the time the US decided to invade). Of course this has been repeated by many people for awhile, anyways, I figured it is a good time to repost this:

“Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War.” Directed by Robert Greenwald. (2004: hosted by Information Clearinghouse) ["An impressive roster of experts is assembled to provide a generally withering commentary on the quality of evidence and possible motivations of the Neo-conservatives who provided the momentum and muscle behind America's venture into preemptive war. Among them are veteran CIA analysts and operatives, military officers, diplomats, politicians, arms inspectors, and U.S. and British government officials. The fig leaf of the possibility of an honest mistake on the matter of WMDs is stripped away; what is left is the stark and disturbing anatomy of deliberate deceit."]

In a year of important non-fiction films, this one may be the most important. And it's a lot more professionally made than Greenwald's "Outfoxed," which, considering it had such a meaty topic to explore (the villainy of Fox News), seemed a bit slight to me.
