2046 (Wong Kar Wai) in Lexington this Weekend!

(From Michael and Rob)

Michael,

It might be worth mentioning to your blog readers that -- by, obviously, some wonderfully bizarre mistake that will undoubtedly last no longer than a single week -- the Carmike 10 is apparently showing 2046, Wong Kar Wai's latest film (which is about the closest this town has come to showing a first-class international film in quite a while!).

Best, ~Rob

They are probably testing the market, please, please, if you are going to see a film this weekend demonstrate that we want films like this (I include, of course, The Kentucky Theater's offerings)... from what I have heard though this is a uniquely visual film that would be best seen on the big screen.

Thivai,

Why pretend? You are me, and I am you... this pretense is ridiculous, everyone knows!

Shhh, we must keep up the pretense, I am the fool, you are academic... or is that the other way around?

They say we cannot be both ... the consequences could be serious!
