I consider you a genius, "destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked."

and memories and anecdotes and eyeball kicks

"I've seen the best minds of my generation
Scrap their hopes and lower their expectations
Split up into petty warring factions
Embrace depression and line up for their rations

A plundered world and a mortgaged future
A hard-boiled dystopian adventure
Flotsam and jetsam sold down the river
Human wreckage in the great western sewer"

Oh yeah, I just read that freaking beautiful poem out loud--I could hear my neighbors walking around above me wondering what the fuck was going on, but still I upped my voice and made love to wild authentic craziness--desperately wondering where are the wild shamans that will make our spirits dance naked in the night feeding on words and music--still I read (its a long poem) until I collapsed while reading the last lines of lament about America, the great shopping mall, America... I let loose a howl that rocked my fucking walls and laughed until I nearly passed out!

Damn it felt good--thanks Oso ;)
