I'm not leaving. This is my country. I love it (yes, I love it--but that doesn't mean that I want to engage in a sick, co-dependent, unreflective nationalist/patriotic relationship)--it is worth defending its principles and pursuing radical democratic policies.
Harry--you are so right, the red/blue state thing maps over a wide diversity of peoples, cultures and beliefs--the map is not the place, it is but a distorted representation (a bastardization of the thoughts of a long line of philosophers)
